Overview
BookMyTest is a production-ready web platform that lets students browse, book, and pay for standardised test vouchers — covering IELTS, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, Duolingo English Test, SAT, PTE, Oxford Test of English, and more. The platform offers competitive NPR pricing on official USD-denominated vouchers, with a seamless checkout flow powered by eSewa. As the sole developer, I owned the entire SDLC — from requirements gathering and system design through to production deployment — delivering the platform on schedule.

- Built a multi-test catalogue (IELTS, GRE, GMAT, TOEFL, Duolingo, SAT, PTE, Oxford) with competitive NPR pricing on official USD-denominated vouchers, driving real savings for students.
- Designed and implemented role-based access control (RBAC) with custom permission classes built on top of Django's permission system, creating reusable, permission-gated API views.
- Integrated eSewa payment gateway with server-side HMAC-SHA256 signature verification and webhook handling, ensuring secure and reliable transaction processing.
- Configured production deployment including server setup, environment management, and Nginx reverse proxy — demonstrating solid command of Unix/Linux-based infrastructure.
